The Hush Time Menion Eye Warmer hides your fatigue

Hush Time Eye Warmer

When you have a hellish week, there are nights where you’re going to miss out on sleep. We can pay off that lack of proper rest when we die, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need to look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed during the days following the long nights. Since we can’t put more hours in the day, we spend money on serums, lotions, and gadgets that will give off the appearance of a well-rested person without actually having to be one.

If you seem to live in a constant state of tired, then this Hush Time Menion Eye Warmer will help soothe your eyes, if only a little. Speaking from experience, you can only go so long before your eyelids start to twitch and feel like they’re being kept open by sheer will alone. While a warm towel will do about the same as this device, this gadget is portable, won’t make your face damp, and you don’t have to run the water for five minutes to get it hot enough.

This has three modes of heating, and should be warm enough for use within a few seconds of being turned on. You only need to press it gently over top of your eyelids for a minute or two before some of the edge will disappear. This is not cheap at $255, but is targeted for those who run a hard schedule and have to look like they walked off a magazine everywhere they go.

Targus reveals powered docking stations for improved productivity

targus-docking-stationTargus is a name that we often associate with laptop accessories, as evident from the past products that the company has rolled out. Well, this time around, things are a little bit more different, with the launch of powered docking stations that will be able to fuel a more flexible workspace. In other words, can employers expect productivity to rise with the presence of these powered docking stations? I suppose the standard answer would be “Yes”, although it would really take a trial run to see if it lives up to such lofty expectations or not. To know more about these Targus powered docking stations, why not take a closer look at them right after the jump.

Offering not one, but two new powered docks to its extensive range of docking stations, the Universal USB 3.0 DV Docking Station with Power (DOCK171USZ) as well as the Universal USB 3.0 DV4K Docking Station with Power (DOCK177USZ) are certainly beauties in their own right to behold.

Ron DeCamp, Vice President, Global Product Management and Development at Targus shared, “Our latest powered docks represent the progress we’ve made in the docking station vertical since our flagship powered docks, ACP71USZ and ACP77USZ. Complete with integrated charging and interchangeable power tips, these docks enable enterprises to accommodate users with virtually any device at any workstation and they facilitate a flexible workspace.”

Sporting an integration of charging alongside a slew of many ports, these new docking stations will be able to send power to your laptop as well as everything else that they are connected to. Two connections will provide users with access to dual monitors as well as other peripherals without the need for a power supply located right under the desk. This will also allow users to leave their laptop charger in their bag, saving time as the day starts. Its special wedge design is also there to help support the laptop as part of saving desk real estate along the way while offering a comfortable typing angle.

We also like the fact that it comes with interest in scalability, as the DOCK177USZ supports the emerging 4K standard while having HDMI support which can have it hook up to TVs and larger format displays.

Nilox reveals DOC Skate electric skateboard

nilox-doc-skateDOC Skate is a new way of getting around while going green — without requiring you to purchase a hybrid car or perhaps even to buy a fully electric Tesla P100D. If you happen to work just a few blocks from where you stay, and public transport is not as efficient in this manner as it would be walking to the office, perhaps the DOC Skate electric skateboard is going to be your cup of tea. Granted, this is not the first electric skateboard in the market and it definitely will not be the last, but check out what it has before you decide on whether to give this a go or a pass, right?

The DOC Skate will follow in the footsteps of the DOC Hoverboard as well as the DOC PRO electric scooter. This unique, super-fun device will merge both street design as well as innovative technology, and the inclusion of a gyroscope, accelerometer, and algorithm will work in tandem with one another so that the rider on the DOC Skate will feel as though he or she is “floating” on the surface, or that of “surfing” on an electric wave.

There are two modes in the DOC Skate: Slow mode which is recommended for entry-level users as it carries a maximum speed of 6 km/h in 3 seconds, while there is Speed mode which will be recommended for pro users, allowing users to arrive at a maximum speed of 15 km/h in 5 seconds. Not only that, the DOC Skate is able to fully recharge itself in a matter of 2.5 hours while sporting a guaranteed battery life of 25 km. Assuming you commute within just a few blocks each day, it should be able to last you for four or five days at the bare minimum before requiring a recharge.

Each DOC Skate can be controlled by a small remote-control, where users have the liberty to select the direction (forward/reverse,) as well as accelerate by moving the control stick forwards. Braking is simple — just shift the control stick backwards. One will be able to choose from wood/blue and wood/black versions which will retail for 529.99 Euros, while the “PLUS” model which carries Bluetooth connectivity will cost 40 Euros more.
