MSI’s exclusive Silent Storm Cooling 3 PRO thermal design will ensure nothing gets overheated, and with plenty of room for upgrades, the obsolescence monster will continue to remain in the rear view mirror. Boasting of two 3.5” HDD and a trio of 2.5” SSD/HDD bays, the Infinite X supports up to 64GB of RAM while the graphics card remains mounted vertically for safe transportation and optimized airflow in a small case. On the exterior lies MSI accents such as a tempered glass side panel (a classic black side panel is also available) and RGB Mystic Light in order for gamers to customize their desktop.

MSI Vortex G25 is a small form factor gaming beast

The case itself might look really, really pretty, but if it does not have any high performance parts within, it would amount to nothing, either. MSI knows this, which is why they have come up with the Vortex G25 gaming desktop that will not only be able to deliver the level of performance that hardcore gamers crave, it will also look good without taking up too much space on your desk.

The Vortex G25 is not a conventional gaming desktop, courtesy of its small form factor setup. Taking it apart, it will be powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, with the ability to handle up to a GTX 1070 graphics card, all within a 2.5-liter chassis. Now that is really compact, no matter which angle you are looking from. Apart from that, the Vortex G25 gaming desktop will also boast of MSI’s Cooler Boost Titan technology that will feature dual blade fans that work in tandem with eight heatpipes. This setup will be able to ensure proper cooling of the CPU and GPU, which in turn provides a 30% performance gain compared to the previous generation of processors.

One of the main reasons for developing the Vortex G25 is to have it function as a gateway for portable and convenient VR experiences. The front panel itself features a power jack which can help to power connected VR headsets, while there is also an HDMI port and a couple of USB 3.0 ports in terms of connectivity. MSI’s very own Nahimic VR software will be able to optimize performance and virtual surround sound so that the whole virtual reality experience is even more immersive.

Expect the MSI Vortex G25 to retail for $1,999 and $1,499 for the Vortex G25-022US and the Vortex G25-023US, respectively.

MSI WS63 workstation updated with NVIDIA Quadro P4000 graphics

MSI offers new gaming notebooks at Computex 2017

msi-gaming-notebookMSI is no stranger when it comes to gaming notebooks, which is why it is interesting to note that the Taiwanese company had continued to work on its range of gaming hardawre with a slew of new products that took the bow at Computex 2017. It has certainly refreshed its gaming laptop roster, which will now include the GT75VR, GS63/73VR and GE63/73VR series which we will take a closer look at right after the jump.

The MSI GT75VR will now arrive in an all-new design complete with an RGB mechanical keyboard, where this is one laptop that will usher in a whole new era of ultimate gaming. This is the high end model from MSI, and depending on your budget and gaming needs, it will arrive in a choice of three GPU options: the GeForce GTX 1080, GeForce GTX 1070 SLI, or GeForce GTX 1070. Mobile gamers can then enjoy near-desktop performance, in addition to an Intel CoreTM i7 7820HK CPU with over 4GHz overclocking capability. It also boasts of the SteelSeries rapid RGB mechanical with customizable Per-Key RGB illumination as well as a diamond-shaped palm rest.
